One of the great Made in the USA companies, Decatur Industries made this classic humidor & added space to hold nine pipes. Handmade walnut, streamlined design...a fantastic gentlemans--or gentlewoman"s caddy for your favorite smoking space.
It is in very good condition for such a vintage piece.
The tobacco scent lingers in the jar; evidence of many pipes is seen on the base.
Expected use shows with daily use; there are some scratches, blue tinted flecks on the base bottom.
As anything made some time ago, it is sturdy and ready to be used again.
They truly, do not make things like this anymore!
